Spring Cleaning in 3-2-1

If you love to do spring cleaning, I am going to share with you how to make it safe and simple.  If you dread it, I am going to change your mind.  Really!

3 Reasons To SPRING CLEAN:

1.  It Makes us Healthier
Removing the dirt, allergens and grim after a long winter literally allows us to breathe easier.  It also helps fight the spring allergy season by starting off clear and clean.
2.  It Makes us Happier
When you clean your home, you have a feeling of satisfaction.  For most people, this results in a happier state of mind.
If not for you then, possibly for someone else in your household.  I see it all the time!
3.  It Reduces our Stress
In order to properly clean, you must remove the clutter.  Removing the clutter and cleaning reduces stress.  The stress of looking at things over and over again, keeping things that you no longer need or use and just plain having too much stuff.

2 Simple Steps to Spring Cleaning:

1.  Put on your favorite music and comfy clothes.
This lightens your spirit and lets you flow effortlessly through your home.

2.  Start in one room at a time.
Do the entire room before you move on to the next room.  If you have a small space, like I do, you can do one task at a time.  I clean all the windows and mirrors first.  I move from one end of my condo to the other end.  Next, I dust everything and clean every surface.  Then, I clean the floors.  Always moving from the same end of my home and ending at the other end.

1 Place To Buy ALl your safe cleaning products:

Whole Foods Market is the place to go for safe cleaning products.  They have created the Eco-Scale Rating System for their store brand cleaning products, because they believe in transparency.  It is the first cleaning products standards created by any retailer.  It is also the most comprehensive of any “green cleaners” standards-setting group.  Third party agencies evaluate each product for environmental impact, efficacy, source and animal testing.  Whole Foods Market has also created a list of ingredients that you will never find in the products rated in each level of the Eco-Scale Rating System.  You can choose which level of “green” works best for you.

The Whole Foods Market in Cranston, RI has partnered with D Living Simply to sponsor the April Giveaway.  If you “Like” this article on the D Living Simply Facebook page, you will be entered for a chance to win!  The prize is $100 gift card to Whole Foods Market to purchase your safe cleaning products.
